Pink Ski Day in Park City to help fund research for all types of cancer

News

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah(News4Utah) Park City Mountain and Huntsman Cancer Foundation are coming together to conquer cancer, and they’re dedicating an entire day to it. It’s called Pink Park City.

Pink Park City is a day full of skiing, fun in the snow, live music, activities for all ages, a costume contest, prizes for top fundraisers, and a Checkpoint Challenge. It’s an event the whole family can attend. Pink Park City will be held at Park City Mountain’s Canyon Village on Saturday, March 24. Money will be raised for all types of cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

The Checkpoint Challenge provides entry into the prize drawing for participants who complete Pink Park City activities at four of the resort’s main lodges. Entries into the drawing are also available to fundraisers.

Participants can sign up to go solo or join a team. They are given access to a personal fundraising page to collect donations online. Fundraising awards will be given out.

Being the first year of this family-friendly event, organizers are hoping to raise $50,000 and encourage participants to help them reach their goal. For more information on registration and how you can help conquer cancer, visit PinkParkCity.com to register.
