News
DRAPER, Utah (ABC4 Utah) If you’re looking for something to do with the family this weekend,  a new park opened in Draper City Wednesday.

Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams and Draper City Mayor Troy Walker cut the ribbon on Wheadon Farm Regional Park.

The new park is 64 acres including a farm-themed pavilion, trail system and a multipurpose sports field.

“We’re growing so fast that open spaces are disappearing in the Salt Lake Valley this was an effort by the county and city to preserve a piece of land  where people would get out and recreate. Families for parks and picnics for active lifestyle and enjoy our parks, ” said McAdams.

If you want to check it out, Wheadon Farm Regional Park is located at 14125 South and Bangerter Parkway.
