Pair arrested following string of car burglaries in Mesquite

MESQUITE, Nev. (ABC4 News) – Two people were arrested following recent vehicle burglaries in Mesquite.

 The Mesquite Police Department received several reports of vehicle burglaries happening at night. Officers conducted extra patrols in affected residential areas.

Police said several vehicles were burglarized during the early morning hours of May 13.

Mesquite detectives found two suspects staying in a nearby hotel.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for their hotel room and vehicle, and the suspects were later arrested. 

Patrick St. Louis, 23, of Las Vegas, was arrested and charged with multiple felony counts of vehicle burglary, one felony count of possession of stolen credit card, one felony count of using a stolen credit card, one felony count of possession of stolen property.

Kirsten Roberts, 24, of Conroe, Texas, was arrested and charged with: multiple counts of conspiracy to commit vehicle burglary, conspiracy to possess stolen credit card, one felony count of possession of stolen property.

Police said more charges are pending for both St. Louis and Roberts. Both suspects were transported and booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.

Investigators said evidence and stolen property were recovered linking both suspects to more 17 reported vehicle burglaries dating back to April. If your car was burglarized recently but you did not report it to the police, please do so now as there is a possibility your property has been recovered and is waiting for you to claim it.
