UINTA COUNTY, Wyo. (ABC4 Utah)- Dozens of cows were injured and killed after a semi loaded with cattle crashed.

It happened Thursday night in Wyoming on eastbound I-80 near milepost 46. That’s near Lyman and Little America.

“About half of the 45 cows on board are injured or dead,” troopers said.

Officials say the driver was transported to an Evanston hospital.

The road was closed for several hours.
