‘Miss inspiration Pageant’ celebrates local women with disabilities

OREM, Utah (ABC4 News)- TURN Community Services held their 2019 Miss Inspiration Pageant Thursday at the SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem.

The pageant celebrates the dreams and lives of Utah women with disabilities. This is the 6th year TURN hosted the event.

The winner was selected based upon how the contestants serve and inspire others and how they present and pursue their dreams.

Rileigh Taylor was crowned Miss Inspiration 2019 and will reign for the next two years. Her platform will include promoting awareness of individuals with disabilities.

The Miss Inspiration Pageant was held on National Down Syndrome Day to bring about awareness of individuals with disabilities in our community.
