Utah woman who wrote screenplay in high school is now seeing dream come true


SALT LAKE CITY, Utah(News4Utah) Teachers and parents always tell you to follow your dreams, but many never do. One woman from Utah did follow her dream, and now it’s coming true. Savannah Ostler D’Alo, writer and director of a new movie, and Monica Moore Smith, an actress in the film, joined Nicea DeGering to talk about what made it happen.

D’Alo wrote the original script in High School while living in Salt Lake City. After many years, and with the help of many, she’s finally filming! It’s a real example of following your dreams and not giving up. 


“Twice The Dream” is an inspiring family drama about two sisters following their musical dreams together. Just as the sisters begin to discover their wings and take flight, a sudden family tragedy strikes. In the aftermath of tragedy, they discover that their dreams were the only thing that held the family together.
