The Single Mother’s Seminar is returning September 28 at Granite Education Center.
That’s a place where women can meet employers and get tips on finding jobs.
More than 42,000 single mothers live along the Wasatch Front. 75 percent of them live below the self-sufficiency standard for a family of four. 38 percent live in poverty, and yet mot of them work.
The Single Mother’s Seminar is put on by People Helping People, an organization that works to end that cycle for women and their children is for women to earn a living wage.
