SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- One man is recovering after he was stabbed in the back of the head early Wednesday morning.
Officials believe this was a violent result of a love triangle.
It all started at 832 South Roberta Street just before 1 a.m.
Authorities say the victim had dated both the female suspect and the suspect’s mother at different times.
Detectives say the victim, suspect, and witness were drinking at the apartment when a fight broke out.
The witness went to the bathroom and when he came out police say he found the victim with a few stab wounds. One in the back of the head and another on the left hip.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect left the scene, but they know who she is.
