Man arrested inside U of U women’s locker room admits he has done it several times before

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – A 30-year-old man arrested Friday after being seen inside the women’s locker room at the University of Utah told police he has done the same thing several times before. 

On Friday, Benjamin Jason Johnson was arrested by University of Utah police after witnesses said they saw him inside the women’s locker room.

Police arrived and took Johnson into custody. He was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on one misdemeanor count of voyeurism, documents state. 

According to the same documents, Johnson admitted during his interview with police to hiding in the women’s locker room several times. 

A background check for Johnson shows no criminal history in Utah.
