Odyssey House to hand out Narcan at Downtown Farmers Market

 SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) – The Salt Lake City Downtown Farmers Market at Pioneer Park opens for the summer season June 8.

This coming weekend, Odyssey House, a drug and alcohol treatment clinic, will join thousands of people at the market to give out free boxes of Narcan.

Narcan is a nasal spray medication designed to rapidly reverse opioid overdose.

Odyssey House says it has served tens of thousands of individuals struggling with addiction, mental health, and physical health issues since it open in 1971.
