Young archers competition takes aim

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – More than 1,000 young archers showcased their skills and competed in Utah’s ninth annual state archery tournament for youth Saturday. 

Representing dozens of different schools, the youth all participate in the National Archery in the Schools Program designed for students in grades four through twelve.

The program helps teach youth essential skills and make a positive difference in their focus, self-confidence, and enthusiasm about school.
