SUMMIT COUNTY (ABC4 News) One person was injured in a crash in Summit County Monday morning.

It happened just before 7:30 a.m.

Utah Highway Patrol said gray Jeep Cherokee was traveling north in the left lane on State Route 224 at the intersection with Ute Boulevard. A 2013 Subaru Crosstrek was traveling southbound in lane one at the intersection.

Troopers said the Jeep made a left turn in front of the Subaru. The front end of the Jeep crashed with the front end of the Subaru in the intersection.

The female driver of the Subaru was transported to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Only one lane each direction on SR-224 in the area remained open during the investigation. UHP said this heavily impacted the traffic to the ski resorts in the Park City area.

Traffic was impacted and delayed in the area for about 45 minutes while the scene was investigated and cleared the debris.
