RIVERTON, Utah (ABC4 News) – A woman attempting to sell her Xbox was dragged while hanging from a car window Monday night.

Sgt. Melody Gray with Unified Police Department says the women had her Xbox listed on Letgo, a website for people to sell items and chat with potential buyers.

The women met two people in a black Cadillac near 12500 South Temple Drive. Sgt. Gray says the woman leaned through the window with the Xbox when the two people inside grabbed it and started to drive.

The woman was dragged outside of the car for a short time. She was uninjured and wasn’t taken to the hospital.

The woman’s mother called police after the incident. Sgt. Gray advises those wanting to sell their items to be careful when doing so.

Summit County, Spanish Fork, Layton, and Sandy Police have designated exchange zones created for people to sell and buy items safely.

Please check with your local authorities before selling to check for exchange zones.
