LAYTON (ABC4 News) – A woman is dead after police say she slammed into two vehicles on Main Street in Layton Saturday night.

Sgt. Brent Ericksen from the Layton Police Department tells ABC4 News the 36-year old driver was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed just before 9 p.m. when she struck the back of a truck.  Her vehicle then flipped into the northbound lanes where a third vehicle was hit.

Two people in the northbound traveling car were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the truck was not injured.
