DRAPER, Utah (ABC4 News) – A woman was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on a couple who arrived late to pick up their dog at a grooming business in Draper on Friday.

Documents state police were approached by the couple who told them the owner of Absolute Grooming, located at 656 E. 11400 South was upset due to their arriving after the business had closed to pick up their dog.

The man said Lisa Hull, 56, pulled out a handgun (described as a 357 with a possible 8-inch barrel) and pointed it at him while yelling at him to leave the business, documents state.

The victim said when he walked outside the business Hull pointed the gun at him again.

The woman who was with the victim told police she saw Hull point a gun at the man while he was outside the business, documents state.

An employee of the business told police the man was respectful and apologized for being late to pick up his dog but Hull was agitated and went into the back of the business, pulled out a handgun from a holster and waved it around while telling the man to leave the business.

The employee told police Hull said if the police arrived, she was going to give the police the .22 caliber handgun she has in her purse, not the handgun she pulled out on the customer, documents state.

Documents further stated the employee told police Hull smokes marijuana in the back room of the business.

During an interview with police, Hull said she was upset due to the man picking up his dog “several hours” late and that the man was yelling at her and calling her names. She told police she went to the back of the business and retrieved her “pistol” and tapped it on the counter so the customer would know the weapon was real.

A .22 caliber black revolver was found inside Hull’s purse and after a K9 indicated there were narcotics in the office, marijuana was found hidden in a coffee container. Officers also found a .45 caliber revolver inside a box on one of the shelves in a grooming room.

Hull was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on charges of third-degree felony aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and misdemeanor charges of threat or use of a dangerous weapon in a fight, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A records check on Hull shows she has no criminal history in Utah.
