Willie Nelson cuts Utah concert short, blames altitude

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- Fans who came to watch country legend Willie Nelson perform at USANA Amphitheatre Sunday night were confused as to what was going on when the concert ended after only an hour.

Witnesses tell ABC4 Nelson left the stage in between songs during the concert. The lights came up and concert viewers were told to go home.

A short time later Nelson tweeted his apology.

The 84-year-old singer has several months left in his tour. Tuesday he is scheduled to perform in Saratoga, California.
