DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Fire crews responded to a wildfire that sparked in the foothills east of North Salt Lake Tuesday evening
Firefighters from multiple agencies responded including the forest service, Layton City, South Davis Metro, Kaysville and Farmington.
Bountiful City Police Department says the fire is east of the foothills and estimated to be about 150 acres in size. It’s not threatening any homes at this time.There are no evacuations, but officials say Summerwood residents should be ready to leave at a moment’s notice.

Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski announced City Creek Canyon in Salt Lake City will be closed to all recreation activity until further notice due to the fire.
The forest service is taking lead on the operation. Crews will remain on scene all night and continue to fight the fire Wednesday morning.
