UTAH COUNTY (News4Utah) – With storms in the forecast, there is still time protect yourself with flood insurance.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has a National Flood Insurance Program that allows people who do not currently have flood insurance to get it before they suffer a loss.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for much of Utah as what remains of Tropical Storm Rosa moves across the state.
Communities near burn scars created by the Bald Mountain and Pole Creek fires are at increased risk for flash flooding and debris flow.
