West Valley restaurant closed for 30 health code violations

WEST VALLEY CITY (News4Utah)- An El Salvadorian restaurant in West Valley City is closed for violating nearly three dozen health codes.

Carlos Kitchen #2, located at 4247 West 3500 South, was closed Thursday for “presenting an imminent health hazard”, officials said.

The violations include cooked chicken, sausage, beans, and rice measuring at unsafe temperatures, dirty surfaces and raw meat stored above ready-to-eat food.

As of Monday the restaurant is still closed.
