WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- A suspect wanted for multiple felony charges is behind bars.
58-year-old Morgan Harris is known for running away from police. Sunday night was no different.
West Valley Officer say they were prepared for him to run when they attempted to stop him Sunday. They had spikes already set out.
“They developed information on where he would be…we had already disabled his tires so as soon as his car started moving, it was prevented from going high speeds,” Lt. Robert Hamilton with WVCPD said.
Harris was arrested for speeding, driving on a suspended license, failure to stop at the command of an officer, distribution of a controlled substance, and charges say he was a federal detainee. A police report said Harris was in possession of methamphetamine.
