West Valley City man killed in hit-and-run identified

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (News4Utah) – West Valley City police have identified a man killed in a hit-and-run auto-pedestrian crash. 

The victim was identified as Raoul Armondo Cabrera, 35, of West Valley City. 

Cabrera’s body was found at 6750 West S. Frontage Rd. around 1 a.m. Sunday. 

Police said there are no suspects at this time, but Cabrera may have been hit by an Econoline van. That van may have front passenger headlight damage, according to police. 

The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call West Valley City police 801-840-4000.
