WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- Emergency officials closed Redwood Road to 1300 West in both directions near 7000 South after a man reportedly fell inside a trench.

It happened just before 10 a.m. near 1400 West and 7000 South.

Police say construction workers were laying pipes in the area when a worker standing on a trench box slipped and fell about 12 feet.

They used ropes and pulleys to pull the man out. He had minor injuries, just some neck and back pain.
