West Jordan announces UDOT construction projects

WEST JORDAN, UT (ABC4 News) – Beginning Monday, April 8th Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) crews will be completing a project on 7800 South from Bangerter Highway to Redwood Road. 

The construction will include reconstruction of some pedestrian access ramps and re-paving the roadway. 

Pedestrian ramp construction will be from April 8th to May 7th. Paving will begin May 8th and complete in early June. 

Also beginning Monday, April 8th UDOT crews will be restriping Redwood Road between 9000 South and 12600 South. 

Crews will work in half mile increments starting at 9000 South and moving south towards Riverton. 

The project will use existing roadway shoulders, converting them into additional travel lanes.
