WELLINGTON, Utah (ABC4 News) – On Sunday, officer Nick Parker with the Wellington Police Department was running routine traffic when a yellow colored pickup sped past him.
Officer Parker pulled over the yellow pickup with two males inside. Officials said he reported smelling raw marijuana and called deputy Christiansen with the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office to the scene.
Once on scene, deputy Christiansen and his K9 “Boss” located multiple items of drugs and paraphernalia inside the car.
The driver of the vehicle, Rafael Alvarado, was arrested and booked into the Carbon County Jail for speeding, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of shrooms, and possession of acid.
The passenger, Steven Gayler, was cited for marijuana possession.
Inside the car officers reportedly found 21 drops of acid, 120 marijuana seeds, DABS, cannabis oil, Peachy O marijuana edible, THC vape pens, and a 4 lb “Shroom Loaf.”
