WEBER COUNTY (ABC4 News) – A Weber County Sheriff’s Office deputy was arrested on charges of sexual misconduct.
Weber County Sheriff’s Office said Jeremy Miller, a Corporal with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Division, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of custodial sexual misconduct.
The sheriff’s office said the arrest was the result of an internal investigation that began in November 2018.
Miller was placed on paid administrative leave on December 10, 2018. The case has been referred to the Weber County Attorney’s Office for the criminal investigation, according to a statement released Thursday.
Miller will be booked in the Box Elder County Jail due to conflict of interest with Weber County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the internal investigation is on-going, and no further details will be released at this time.
