Walking together to raise awareness and show support for suicide prevention

RIVERTON, Utah (ABC4 News) – Riverton High School students, Riverton community members, and neighbors will walk together from Riverton High School to Spirit Corner to raise awareness and show support for suicide prevention.

Riverton’s annual HOPE (Hold On. Persuade. Empower.) Walk for Suicide Prevention takes place Saturday, February 2 at 9 a.m. 

The walk begins at Riverton High School (12476 S Silverwolf Way) and ends at Spirit Corner (12599 Redwood Road). Parking is available at both Riverton High School and the LDS Church at 12574 South 1700 West.

The annual HOPE Walk for Suicide Prevention is sponsored by Riverton City, Riverton High School, and Intermountain Riverton Hospital.
