Volunteers work to transform Utah’s oldest high school

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – School is out for the weekend but a group of volunteers showed up to Utah’s oldest high school to spruce things up.

It was part of the Fidelity investment’s ‘school transformation day’. Volunteers did projects around West High school.

The company said this is an annual tradition for them where they work on improving local schools.

They also took the time to teach some students about making good financial decisions.

Research shows that a school’s condition has a big impact on a student’s academic achievements according to the company.
