Volunteers needed for 2nd annual Project Homeless Connect

SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah)- Mayor Jackie Biskupski is looking for volunteers to help with the second annual Project Homeless Connect.

Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is a one-day, one-stop event that provides services for those experiencing homelessness. 

Last year’s event was staffed by 525 volunteers. This year, project coordinators say they hope to get 800.

The event is Friday, October 12th at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Project Homeless Connect is a national movement and events have been held in Washington D.C., Denver, San Francisco, and others.
