A Lehi man was injured after he jumped from the second-floor of the Spanish Fork courthouse.
Christopher Clay Rudd, 35, was scheduled to appear before a judge Monday.
For some unknown reason, a handcuffed-Rudd bolted from the courtroom and threw himself over the railing where he fell to the floor below.
Multiple courthouse security cameras captured the alarming incident. The video shows the commotion in the courtroom and then courthouse security rushing to his aid.
Rudd appears to be bleeding from cuts sustained during his fall. Utah court officials said his injuries are minor.
Mapleton police arrested Rudd on April 26 on theft and drug-related charges. He is due back in court on May 21 at 8:30 a.m.
