A World War II veteran turned 100 years young Wednesday, August 8.

Woodrow “Woody” Wilson served in the Army-Corp of Engineers as a demolition expert. Woody was a staff sergeant after serving all around the world. He is also the recipient of two bronze stars.

He says turning 100 doesn’t change how he goes about his day.

“I just keep going like that bunny rabbit with a battery and might have to change the battery after a while,” said Wilson.
