Utah woman missing after leaving three kids with family in Wyoming found

FOUND: Police in southern Utah found Leakae Tuesday alive and well. Officials say she is being reunited with family. 


EVANSTON, Wyoming (News4Utah) – The Evanston Police Department is asking for help in locating a missing woman from Utah who dropped her kids off with family on Saturday and has not been seen since. 

Police said Leakae Roberts, 42, of Morgan, Utah was last seen in Evanston on Saturday at around 6:30 p.m.

Roberts is a University of Utah employee. She works as an executive assistant in the School of Medicine’s Department of Infectious Diseases. 

Roberts left in a black 2017 Toyota Camry, Utah license plate F058BN.

She also left behind her cell phone. Police said this is not normal behavior for Roberts and they are concerned for her welfare.
