Utah National Guard to conduct live-fire artillery exercise

If you hear loud explosions near Camp Williams this week don’t worry. The Utah National Guard will be conducting a live-fire artillery exercise from March 19th through March 21st.

The soldiers from the 640th Regional Training Institute will be participating in the live-fire event as part of their training for artillery career.

The training will be going sporadically throughout the day each day of the exercise starting at 7 a.m. and going until about 7 p.m.

Those expected to be most affected by these events are residents of Bluffdale, Riverton, Herriman, Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs and Lehi.
