Utah Film Center prepares for Pride and LGBTQ Film Festival

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) – The Utah Film Center is getting involved with the upcoming Pride Festival and an LGBTQ Film Festival of their own.

Patrick Hubley from the center joined ABC4 News at 4 to talk let us in on these exciting events.

Utah Film Center’s 16th annual Damn These Heels LGBTQ Film Festival July 12-14, 2019 at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.

There are free screenings for two of the films at the LGBTQ Film Festival. Tuesday, May 21 “Rafiki” will play and 28th “Before Stonewall” will play at The City Library, with post-film discussions organized by the Utah Pride Center in conjunction with Pride.

Passes are on sale now, individual tickets on sale when films are announced in early June. You can learn more at utahfilmcenter.org.
