FRUIT HEIGHTS, Utah (News4Utah)- For the LeBaron family it was just a typical Sunday as a family.
After Easter dinner grandma suggested they all sing.
“Singing is the glue that has held our family together during the tough times,” grandma Dennise said (known by the grandkids as D-ma).
Dennise decided to record the family’s rendition of “One Day More” from Les Miserables. Each of the five siblings and their spouses sang the characters’ roles.
The oldest-living sibling Jordon LeBaron posted the video on Facebook, the family told News4Utah.
It didn’t take long before it took off. Friday the video has over 4.1 million views.
The LeBaron family says they began singing before the time of Instagram and YouTube.
“One day while Gerald [Dennise’s husband] was playing the piano, they noticed that their two-year-old Holli sang unusually well for a small child and enjoyed performing,” a press release about the video said. “Soon, Holli and Jordon began performing at church and community events and meetings
Our ears are thankful the tradition carried on.
