SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – A Salt Lake City family has been temporarily forced out of their home after a fire broke out overnight.
It happened at 1:00 a.m. Monday at 1401 South 1400 East.
According to Salt Lake City Firefighters, the blaze started on the back porch. They say the porch collapsed due to all of the flames.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading into the home.
The family and other people living in surrounding areas were evacuated as a precaution. Everyone was given the OK to go back inside except the family living where the fire started.
No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
