SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah)-Lt. Governor Spencer Cox, faith leaders, and people of many denominations are joining in prayer this weekend to beak the silence around suicide.
In recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day (9/10), the weekend of September 7-9, 2018, the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) is promoting the National Weekend of Prayer for Suicide.
Every year in Utah an average of 4,000 people attempt suicide and 500 die by suicide.
