SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (News4Utah)  A local real estate company is doing what it can to help clean up Utah’s dirty winter air. It’s calling today “work from home Wednesday.” Johnny Hanna is the CEO of Homie and he joined Good Morning Utah to explain how you can join him improve our air.

Utah’s real estate tech company, Homie, based in Draper understands that a portion of the city’s pollution comes from emissions from their employees commuting to and from work each day all across Silicon Slopes.

In order to reduce the environmental footprint the company has, Homie has incorporated a work from home Wednesday to encourage employees to cut their commute for the week and in-turn help reduce the inversion.

Homie also selected an office location walkable distance from TRAX to allow for employees to use public transportation for their commute.
