Over the weekend, a Utah-based company, attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the most “selfies” taken simultaneously.

We’re happy to report, the company broke it with nearly 5,000 selfies.

Defend Innocence, a brand managed by The Younique Foundation partnered with Younique Products to accomplish this.

The attempt, held to raise awareness for childhood sexual abuse, took place the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Mo.

More than 10,000 people gathered to attempt the record and raise awareness.

The foundation’s executive director says he hopes the world record attempt will raise awareness of this issue and spur action to recognize and prevent further abuse.
