Local News

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) – At the Utah State Capitol on Thursday, Utah Transit Authority and state leaders celebrated “Transit Day.”

Nearly 3,000 people who work in transit served 50 million people in 2018. UTA riders traveled over eight million miles in 2018.

UTA officials say they are not only looking to improve our air along the Wasatch Front but also for the southern portions of the states.

State leaders say they are pleased to not only have transit here along the Wasatch Front but also down in Southern Utah.
