UTA says TRAX train hit pedestrian in Midvale

MIDVALE, Utah (ABC4 News) – Utah Transit Authority confirmed a crash involving a TRAX train and a pedestrian in Midvale Wednesday evening.

It happened just north of 7200 South and 300 West around 8: 30 p.m.

UTA said the person was trespassing in the area and was struck by a northbound train. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.
