UTA celebrates 10 years of FrontRunner

Local News

Ten years ago the Utah Transit Authority opened the state’s first commuter rail line giving riders a chance to skip traffic and relax during their commute.

To this day, six days a week the red, white and blue trains run from Utah County to Weber County.

Over the last decade more than 31 million riders have been transported on FrontRunner adding up to more than 10 million total miles!

UTA wants you to join in on the celebration. On Saturday FrontRunner is free all day with a donation to the Utah Food Bank.
