University of Utah fraternity celebrating 5 years of partnership with Rape Recovery Center

Local News

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News)- A University of Utah fraternity is celebrating five years of partnership with the Rape Recovery Center.

The Gamma Beta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi and Rape Recovery Center partnered together in 2013.  Since then, Beta has developed numerous programs centered around increasing education, awareness, and prevention of sexual assault on the University of Utah campus–on top of raising over $100,000 for the Rape Recovery Center.

The Blue Tie Gala on November, 30th will celebrate that partnership.

The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. at the University of Utah Alumni House. Dinner is served at 7 p.m. followed by a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit the RRC.
