Unified Fire responds to Holladay house fire

HOLLADAY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Unified  Fire is responded to a kitchen fire in Holladay Monday morning.

The fire started in the kitchen of a home located at 2892 East Morgan Drive and 4100 South. The fire spread to the ceiling and into the attic.  

Public Information Officer Keith Garner with Unified Fire says three engines were called to the scene around 10 a.m. and had the fire contained around 10:30 a.m.

The home owner was home at the time of the fire, saw smoke and called the fire department. He excited the house and has no reported injuries.

Crews estimate that 30,000 dollars of damage was done to the home.
