Two teens extricated after rollover near Payson Dump

PAYSON, Utah (ABC4 News) – Two teens had to be extricated after a single-vehicle rollover in Payson Friday night. 

According to Sgt. Spencer Cannon, Payson Fire & Rescue crews responded to a rollover accident west of the Payson dump around 11:30 p.m. 

When crews arrived, one of the boys, a 19-year-old, was unconscious and both males had to be extricated. The unconscious patient was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The other male, exact age unknown, received minor injuries and was not transported. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation but Cannon said drugs and alcohol are not currently be considered as factors. It is not known if the men were wearing seat belts.
