The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is a way for the community to unite and honor cancer survivors. The events help to raise awareness about how to reduce cancer risk and raise money to help fight the disease.
Relay For Life events are community events where teams and individuals camp out at a school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team has at least one participant on the track at all times. Individuals and teams raise funds and awareness to help the American Cancer Society save lives.
There are two events coming up:
Saturday, August 18th from 5 p.m to 10 p.m. at Valley Regional Park in Taylorsville.
Friday-Saturday, August 24th & 25th 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. at Heritage Park in Kaysville.
