DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Two people were arrested for burglary after forcing their way into an apartment in Davis County and assaulting the occupants Sunday morning.
According to arresting documents, Andrew Barlow, 32, and Brooke Barlow, 27, forcefully entered an apartment on 1425 North by pushing the door open at the same time a resident was in the process of opening it.
Police said the two had not invited into the apartment prior to the altercation.
Andrew Barlow allegedly punched one of the residents the face multiple times and forcefully dragged them out of the apartment and Brooke Barlow punched a female in the face, knocked her to the ground while repeatedly punching her.
Both suspects ran from the scene and hid in another apartment in the same complex.
Officers obtained a search warrant and were able to contact Andrew Barlow who provided false information to officers when asked to identify himself.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Davis County Jail for third-degree felony burglary and misdemeanor assault. Andrew Barlow has one additional charge of misdemeanor giving false information to a police officer.
A motive for the assault and burglary were not immediately determined.
