OGDEN, Utah (ABC4 News) – UPDATE 02/15/19: Ogden City detectives and the Davis Metro SWAT team arrested a second suspect in connection with a recent homicide. Daniel Viegas Gonzalez, 28, was booked into the Weber County Jail Thursday.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Police identified the victims and a suspect in a fatal shooting in Ogden Monday night.
According to Ogden police, 18-year-old Kameron Johnson was killed and his 20-year-old brother Eric Johnson Jr. was critically injured in a shooting near 800 West Lake Street Monday evening.
Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Theron Nelson Farmer. The search for Farmer led Layton and Ogden police officers to an apartment at 225 N. Fairfield in Layton Tuesday.
Police said at first Farmer was unwilling to come out. SWAT officers deployed gas and eventually, he surrendered to officers.
Ogden police later confirmed they are “actively seeking a second suspect.”

OGDEN, Utah (ABC4 News) – Police in Ogden are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another injured.
Ogden police said they responded to the shooting at 862 W. Lake Street around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Officers reported two male victims. One was dead and the other in critical condition.
Phyllis Lewis is the aunt of both victims. She says her 18-year-old nephew is dead; his brother, 20, is in critical condition and undergoing surgery as of Monday evening.
Both were inside the Ogden home when they were shot.
“It’s very sad,” said Lewis.
“As far as I know, it was over a girl — that’s all I know,” she added.
Police say the suspect or suspects are still at-large. “Preliminary investigation suggests there is not a specific threat to the general public,” police shared in a tweet.
“We don’t know a motive yet. The homicide task force is just beginning their investigation. They’re canvassing the neighborhood, they’re looking for video. As far as suspects, one maybe two outstanding right now,” said Lt. Clint Christensen with Ogden Police.
