MILLCREEK, Utah (ABC4 News) Two men were arrested after a crash, carjacking, and chase Thursday.

Unified Police Department received a call about a hit-and-run crash just after 12 p.m. Police said the vehicle involved in the crash was stolen out of Murray City.

The suspects in the vehicle fled the scene and carjacked an elderly couple. Both suspects had guns and threatened to harm the couple.

Police say they got into the couple’s car and ordered them to drive. Sgt. Melody Gray with Unified police said one officer spotted the suspects in the vehicle and pulled it over.

The suspects took off again on foot and police gave chase. Sgt. Gray said one of the suspects was apprehended “pretty quickly.”

Eventually, officers caught up with the second suspect in the area of 1660 E. Murray Holladay Road but did not find a gun. Officers continued to search for the outstanding weapon.

Sgt. Gray said the elderly couple was “shaken up,” but otherwise fine after the ordeal.

The two suspects were later identified as 24-year-old Justin Sheridan and 24-year-old Cory Webb.
