Truck of man missing out of Utah County found stuck in ditch, Reynolds still missing

UPDATE: 5/21/19 12:15 P.M. (ABC4 News) – Authorities said Tuesday a Dodge pickup driven by Reynolds has been found in a far southwest part of Utah County, 7 miles south of Elberta.

According to Sgt. Spencer Cannon, Utah County Sheriff, the man’s truck was found in a ditch with the hood up. 

Reynolds has not been found and SAR, mounted posse, K9 officers and a fixed wing aircraft are actively searching for him. 


GOSHEN, Utah (ABC4 News) – The Utah County Sherriff’s Office is asking the public to help to find a missing 68-year-old man who has memory loss. 

Edward Dale Reynolds is from Goshen and was last seen leaving his home shortly after 4:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, according to officials.

His family reported him missing on Sunday, May 19, and said Reynolds was driving alone in a white Dodge D-150 pickup with a spare tire in the pickup bed. Reynold’s license plate is issued in Utah under E098DD.

He reportedly entered Main Street on SR-6 in Goshen and drove east. Reynolds left home without his prescriptions for several medical conditions, according to officials.
