Trial date set for former Disney actor accused of enticing minor

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – A trial date was set for a former Disney actor accused of enticing a minor by internet or text.

Stoney Westmoreland has a four-day jury trial set for December 9, 2019, according to officials.

Westmoreland appeared on the Disney Channel sitcom Andi Mack before he was arrested for allegedly trying to set up a sexual encounter in Salt Lake City with a 13-year-old he met online.

Westmoreland was charged with one count of coercion and enticement by a federal grand jury in Utah in January of 2019, according to court documents.
